Who Am I?

At my core, I’m a creative problem solver, who loves storytelling through design. I think every project has a voice to be uncovered, and it’s my job to amplify it. Regardless of the project scope, formal and rigid, or vibrant and artsy, every design echoes its own story.

In every project, I bring fresh perspectives, mindfulness, and a constant curiosity on how to best design for an audience. I believe strongly in user-centric design and prioritizing accessibility in every project.

How I Got Here

In the process of unknowingly discovering my passion for design, I explored many mediums, with many fortunate opportunities allowing me to do so. In 2019, I designed a social media campaign on Trans Awareness Week for schools across the Durham District School Board. Two years later, I was awarded a national gold medal after competing in Secondary Level Photography at Skills Canada.

Although many of my extracurriculars pointed towards design as a career, I pursued Psychology at uOttawa, loving the research and critical thinking that came with university academia. In my second year, I realized my studies were not fulfilling, and my yearning for design came to a boiling point. In a turning point, I decided to shift my studies to graphic design.

As I continue my journey as a designer, whether it's a keen photography eye, or my passion for research, I bring my past experiences as assets to my projects, allowing me to be the strategic designer clients need.
